After getting blown out by 38 points in Game 4 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, the Boston Celtics will try to bounce back with a vengeance in Game 5 at TD Garden, hoping to win it all in from their fans rather than going back to Texas for Game 6.

Fortunately for Boston, history is on the side of the storied franchise, with no team in the league having come back from a 0-3 deficit, meaning it could be only a matter of time before Jayson Tatum and company lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

Another thing the Celtics have going for them is playing Game 5 on their home floor, as they can feed off the energy of their fans, who’ll want to witness a series-clinching win in person, which will also make history with this team breaking the tie with the arch-rival Los Angeles for 18 titles won.

Ahead of a critical Game 5, Tatum talked about the support he and his teammates have gotten from the Celtics faithful via the NBA’s Twitter account.

“You really just feel the love and support from everybody in the city of Boston,” Tatum said.

Currently, the Celtics are heavily favored (-6.5) to win it all on Monday night at TD Garden, and the consensus seems to be that they’ll bounce back from a 38-point loss to finish off the Dallas Mavericks.

However, anything can happen from here on out, as they might not have Kristaps Porzingis for Monday’s game, who is listed as questionable.

Plus, the Mavericks will be highly motivated to return this series to Dallas and keep their hopes alive of making history.
