After coming short of winning a Super Bowl, with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs getting the best of them, the Philadelphia Eagles headed into the 2023 NFL season with high hopes of getting back in position to win a title.

Fortunately for Philadelphia, things looked promising through the first 11 games of the season, with the team losing only one game, which was a good sign that they could go the distance and represent the NFC in the Super Bowl once again.

However, after reaching the record of 10-1, things took a nasty turn for the Eagles as the team started to fall apart on both sides of the football, which led to a disastrous end to the regular season.

Then things got worse after the Eagles were crushed by Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL playoffs, leading many to anticipate some drastic changes during the NFL offseason.

Although things looked bleak, the Eagles may have done enough this offseason to help right the ship, and diehard fans of the storied franchise seem to have their spirits, with one fan in particular getting a “Go Birds” tattoo on his middle finger via Dov Kleiman.

Only time will tell what is in store for the Eagles as they head into the 2024 campaign as a team to watch in the NFC, as things could go in either direction once the regular season gets underway.

It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out and whether Jalen Hurts and company have what it takes to compete for a title.
