Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns has never been afraid of getting into it with fans and analysts online.

Unlike other NBA stars, he has no problem diving into virtual spats with people on social media.

On Tuesday morning, Durant left one of his most biting comments yet on Twitter.

According to Courtside Buzz, Durant fired back at an NBA fan who said the “only way” he can “redeem his legacy” is if he returns to the Oklahoma City Thunder and helps them win their first championship.

“Then all his sins will be forgiven,” the fan wrote.

Durant shot back with a cutting response: “U ain’t God. Go get ready for work.”

Durant has gotten into online arguments many times before but this might be his harshest comment yet.

However, he is likely very tired of hearing people state what he needs to do to “redeem his legacy.”

It has been years since Durant left the Thunder and ever since he departed for the Golden State Warriors, some people have wondered if he’d ever come back.

He has found great success throughout the league, winning two championships and leading the Brooklyn Nets and Suns.

But what would a return to the Thunder do for his place in NBA history?

It would be a huge moment for Durant and the franchise and it really would improve their chances of winning a championship.

That being said, it’s unlikely because Durant doesn’t seem interested in coming back to Oklahoma City and the Thunder are doing very well without him.

Durant is going to do whatever he wants, regardless of what fans think.

And he is also going to keep broadcasting his thoughts and feelings online.
