Shaq Had Some Strong Advice For Jaylen Brown After Game 2 Win

For years, people have debated about the Boston Celtics and their star duo.

Some believe Jaylen Brown is actually a better player than Jayson Tatum, or at least someone who shows up when it matters the most.

Others think Tatum is the better player and even urged them to trade Brown and put a better supporting cast around him.

Whatever the case, none of that matters now.

This is the second time they’ve made it to the NBA Finals together, and they must take care of business this time.

That’s why, following their win in Game 2, Shaquille O’Neal gave Brown a piece of advice.

He told Brown not to get fixated on useless titles or distinctions, as this wasn’t the time to let ego stand in the way.

That makes perfect sense, and it’s coming from someone who knows how to be ‘the man’ and the sidekick.

It takes a lot to win an NBA championship, and while star players usually get most of the credit and the spotlight, no one can win on his own.

Brown has been the best and most consistent player for the Celtics during this playoff run, even winning Eastern Conference MVP over his star teammate.

But at the end of the day, none of that will matter if they don’t finish the job and blow this big 2-0 lead vs. the Dallas Mavericks.
