After flaming out early in the NBA playoffs, the Los Angeles Clippers are already in offseason mode, while the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks battle it out in the NBA Finals with the Larry O’Brien Trophy on the line.
The Clippers headed into the postseason with high hopes of living up to expectations and going the distance in the Western Conference with a chance to win the franchise’s first-ever NBA title.
Despite having one of the most star-studded rosters in the league, with the team led by James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George, the Clippers couldn’t compete with the dynamic duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving of the Mavericks.
Dallas went on to beat Los Angeles in six games in the first round to advance to the next round to take on the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.
With the Clippers failing to live up to expectations, there have been many questions about the team’s immediate future, but it seems as though Harden enjoyed himself recently at Rajon Rondo’s wedding, even though he clearly wished his girlfriend didn’t catch the bouquet via ClutchPoints.

Even though the Clippers flamed out early and face uncertainty with players who could come and go this summer, Harden still has his sense of humor intact despite looking terrified about his girlfriend now waiting for that engagement ring.
Now, the pressure could be on Harden to propose while his NBA future hangs in the balance, with the Clippers potentially shaking things up this summer ahead of the franchise’s first year at the Intuit Dome.
