The New York Giants have made a decision on what jerseys they will be wearing to kick off the 2024 NFL season.
Against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 at home, the team will be wearing their “century red” uniforms, per Ari Meirov.
The franchise is entering its 100th season and wants to commemorate their history of being one of the league’s most iconic franchises.

At this point, Giants fans could probably not care less about what their team is wearing when they step out on the field.
They are more focused on the team struggling to contend for the playoffs ever since Eli Manning’s career came to an end.
This franchise has made the playoffs just once in the last seven seasons.
They have not had a 10-win season since 2016.
An NFC East title hasn’t come their way since 2011, which is when they last won the Super Bowl.
This current team doesn’t appear to be anywhere close to that.
They lost their best athlete in Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley, who joined the arch-rival Philadelphia Eagles earlier this offseason on a three-year deal.
Daniel Jones, who is coming off of a torn ACL, has only had one solid season in New York and will be presumably competing with veteran backup Drew Lock for that role.
This team doesn’t have an identity right now, and Brian Daboll will have his hands full trying to turn this roster into a competitive one this year.
If he can’t do that, he could be looking for a new job next year.
