It is fair to say that the Green Bay Packers are second to none when it comes to developing franchise quarterbacks.
It started in the early-90s when Ron Wolf saw something in Brett Favre.
Then, Ted Thompson saw something in Aaron Rodgers.
Now, Brian Gutekunst has seen something in Jordan Love.
FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd recently gave some praise to Green Bay for how they handle arguably the most important position in all of sports.
“When it comes to quarterbacks, Green Bay is really good at it…This is what the Packers do. They draft, they’re patient, and they develop,” Cowherd stated on “The Herd.”
“Jordan Love could have easily been another first round miss… In one season, he went from bad to pretty good to wow.”

For the last 30+ years, the Packers have been better than everybody at finding the right quarterback.
Favre won three MVPs and a Super Bowl.
Rodgers then came in and won four MVPs, along with a Super Bowl.
Now, it is Love’s turn to take the reins.
In his first year starting, he ended strong after a tough beginning.
He threw 18 touchdowns and just a single interception in between Weeks 11 and 18.
Green Bay made the playoffs with a winning record and went on to beat the Cowboys in the Wild Card round in January.
Love arguably should’ve been a Pro-Bowler after finishing second in the league in touchdown passes (32).
Now entering his second full season under the leadership of Matt LaFleur, he will look to play more complete football for the entirety of the year.
If he can do just that, Green Bay might be more than just a playoff team.
