The New York Jets are entering a crucial season for the franchise.
They have legitimate Super Bowl aspirations, but they also know how quickly things can change because of health.
That’s why they’re erring on the side of caution with one of their best players.
In his recent media availability, HC Robert Saleh revealed that star RB Breece Hall is currently dealing with “some lower half stuff,” which is why he’s working off to the side during Tuesday’s practice (via Jets Videos).
Robert Saleh says that Breece Hall is at Jets OTAs and working on the side as he deals with a lower body issue:

He added that it was nothing to be worried about, so Hall should be back to full strength and ready to go for the start of preseason and mandatory training camp.
Hall was initially spotted with the team’s rehab group last Wednesday, leading to speculation about his health.
Now, it’s confirmed that he’s dealing with a minor ailment.
The Jets should still expect him to be on the field when they start training camp late in July, but he could still be sidelined for the next couple of weeks.
Hall has been quite impactful when healthy, but he did miss a big chunk of his rookie campaign with a major injury, so the Jets won’t want to take any chances with their young star.
This team is expected to take a huge leap forward in 2024, so they won’t rush him back at this point in the offseason.
