The New England Patriots will enter the 2024 NFL season with a revamped roster and a new regime headlined by head coach Jerod Mayo.
Mayo will be tasked with leading the Patriots’ first season without both Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, though this was long-time coming given the franchise’s disappointing regular-season finishes the past few years.
Aside from Mayo, the team will be counting on rookie quarterback Drake Maye to lead them back to the postseason, though he should be given at least a couple of years to develop properly into the future cornerstone of the roster.
Meanwhile, on the defensive end, the Patriots did well to bring back some of their veteran pieces to prop up the unit.
One player set to return is Matthew Judon, who is playing on the final year of his four-year extension, though there have been talks of him signing another deal with New England.
During the offseason, Judon has been posting cryptic messages on social media and his most recent one seems to indicate that an extension is on the way, via his personal Twitter account.

The GIF Judon posted is from “The Wolf of Wall Street” starring Leonardo DiCaprio where his character famously declares that he’s not going anywhere.
In this case, it seems that the veteran outside linebacker won’t be leaving the Patriots and is in line for more guaranteed money.
While official word has yet to drop on a potential deal, it’s safe to assume that Judon will be getting his wish and staying with the organization.
