A new Summer Challenge is here! It’s time to relax in the sun and dive into a good book (or five)! The concept is simple – read five books of your choice between June 1st – August 31st!  PS. A Kindle Paperwhite or $150 Amazon gift card is up for grabs! For every challenge completed, LIY will donate $1 [up to $500!] to Book Trust, an organization near to our book-loving hearts!

 It’s simple. You read, we donate! If you complete the challenge (you can do it!), you’ll be entered to win a Kindle Paperwhite or a $150 Amazon gift card! Before you dive into the books, here’s everything you need to know!

Sign up here to download your tracking form and enter to win a Kindle Paperwhite or $150 Amazon Gift Card! This is a printable, so download it, save it, or print it out! Use it as your bookmark and keep track of your books along the way! Don’t worry, you won’t need to turn this in to enter the giveaway. It’s simply a fun way to track your summer reads!

Read five books of your choice between June 1st – August 31st! If you need some suggestions, we rounded up a few from our Summer Reading List below! See what’s on our to-read list here! And if you’re not already a member, be sure to join our LIY Reads Facebook group for book recommendations from over 37,000 fellow readers!

Once you’ve read at least 5 books, submit your form HERE! By August 31st [or whenever you have your five books done!] you’ll need to submit this form in order to be eligible to win the grand prize of a Kindle Paperwhite [or $150 Amazon gift card!] Remember you must complete 5 books to enter! One winner will be selected and contacted via email on September 1st! Submit your form here!

For each completed challenge, we’re donating $1 to Book Trust – up to $500! Through Book Trust, thousands of educators and school administrators are part of a nationwide network making access to books possible for all students. Book Trust and envisions of world where every child discovers the joy and power of reading to cultivate a lifelong love of learning. To do that, they provide children equitable access to books of choice in order to promote reading, motivation and engagement. $100 allows an elementary school-aged child to choose their own books to read during the school year to create their own personal libraries.
