Week 2 of the college football season features a primetime matchup, an early frontrunner for must-watch games in 2024.
Nebraska vs. Colorado, Part 73.
Prime Time vs. Matt Rhule, Part 2.
Shedeur Sanders/Travis Hunter vs. Dylan Raiola, (maybe) Part 1.
Colorado vs. The World.
Nebraska vs. The World.
And so on.
In the final battle of the home-and-home series that began in 2018, Colorado and Nebraska will face off on Saturday, September 7, and the game will be a nationally televised event on NBC — which only adds to the storylines and drama between the former Big 12 programs and the high-profile talents.
Beyond the coaches and experienced stars, one exciting element of the anticipated kickoff at Memorial Stadium is the recruiting race. Both teams are looking to the class of 2024 for immediate upgrades that could play a pivotal role in the game’s outcome, from the offensive line to the aforementioned quarterback and more.
With that in mind, here is a look at each team’s recruiting class heading in as a freshman in 2024.
