The Arizona Cardinals have to be considered one of the biggest winners of the 2024 NFL Draft after the haul of players they brought in.

The Cardinals had the No. 4 overall pick and had plenty of reported offers to trade down given the offensive talent in the class.

However, Arizona wisely stayed put and took the best wide receiver on the board in Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr.

Harrison will step into an offense that was previously devoid of a true No. 1 receiver and presumably become Kyler Murray’s favorite target on the field.

Aside from Harrison, the Cardinals also signed former Jacksonville Jaguars veteran Zay Jones to bolster the room.

With all the new wideouts on the roster, former practice squad player Kaden Davis decided to join the Detroit Lions in free agency via Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

“Former #AZCardinals WR Kaden Davis is signing with the Lions after attending rookie camp on a tryout basis, per his agent @seanstellato. Davis, who had eight catches and a TD last preseason, was on Arizona’s practice squad last season and was active for one game as well,” Garafolo reported.

Davis was unable to crack the 53-man roster for the entirety of the 2023 NFL season and is expected to face an uphill battle with Detroit given their current depth chart.

Amon-Ra St. Brown is the alpha of the group, followed by Jameson Williams and Donovan Peoples-Jones.

The most likely outcome is he ends up on their practice squad where he could have a chance to stick assuming training camp and preseason goes well.
