Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors has upset many people over the years and now he may be making himself an enemy of the New York Knicks fanbase.
According to a video shared by New York Basketball, Green said that the Knicks are doing well right now and could go far in the playoffs but it might be a “fluke.”
“It’ll be probably another 15 years of misery and we’ll all sit around at laugh at Knicks fans with their delusion because that’s just what happens,” Green said.

Green compared this year’s Knicks to the 2020-21 Atlanta Hawks and the 2018-19 Portland Trail Blazers.
Both of those teams had red-hot seasons that pushed them far into the playoffs but they ultimately fell short.
More importantly, they never again reached those same heights and are now struggling teams that feel light years away from the Finals.
Green predicts that will happen to the Knicks, which is a claim that will receive a lot of pushback in New York and beyond.
This Knicks roster is the best they have had in years, led by the brilliant point guard power of Jalen Brunson.
There are also many other amazing members of the team, including OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, Donte DiVincenzo, and others.
Unlike the Hawks and Blazers from years past, this team has been slowly but surely building something special over the last few years, progressively getting better season after season.
This doesn’t feel like a flash in the pan or a fluke like Green said.
Instead, it feels like a natural progression that has been in the works for a while.
Green thinks that this is the only year that the Knicks will be playing like this but the team and its loyal fanbase beg to differ.
