The New York Knicks just pushed out the Philadelphia 76ers, while the Indiana Pacers moved past the Milwaukee Bucks to reach the second round of the NBA playoffs.

Now these two teams are set to face each other on Monday night for a Game 1 that many people will be paying close attention to.

It could be a very intense series but Craig Carton thinks the Knicks will pull out the win.

Speaking on “The Carton Show,” Carton predicted that the Knicks would win the series because they have the ability to close out tight games.

The Pacers could cause some problems for the Knicks and may be tougher opponents than the 76ers were.

For instance, they are a faster team and have a strong emphasis on offense.

In many ways, they play basketball much like the Knicks do and that could create some headaches for New York.

Both of these teams have been rivals in the past and the rivalry will be reborn on Monday night.

They are facing off against each other after years of being without a strong identity and meandering toward the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

They are now much better, much faster, younger, and ready to make an impact.

And they are both being led by two of the most exciting players in the league: Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson.

So, which team has the best chance of making it to the Eastern Conference Finals?

Carton thinks that the Knicks will reign supreme because they are talented when it comes to closing out games.

Fans will get their first look at this series on Monday night and it could be a very high-scoring and wild game.
