The Oklahoma City Thunder have a surplus of first-round picks for years to come.
Well, it seems like Sam Presti will have to continue stacking up future assets, as he may have found a new guard for the future.
MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander just announced the birth of Ares, his baby boy (via Bleacher Report).

This comes on the heels of their first-round sweep of the New Orleans Pelicans.
Fortunately for the Canadian guard, he’ll have some days to get some rest and spend time with his family before hosting the winner of the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Dallas Mavericks series.
Shai has been one of the best players in the league this season by a significant margin, and some made a case for him as the league’s Most Valuable Player.
That’s not far-fetched at all, considering he was the leader and best player for the first seed in the Western Conference, leading the Thunder to become the youngest No. 1 seed in NBA history.
Shai is one of the few players who plays on both ends in today’s game, let alone one of the few stars.
He can play on and off the ball as the lead guard or at the two, and he plays lockdown perimeter defense and in the post as well.
Some are still hesitant to see this young and inexperienced Thunder team as a championship contender.
But with Shai playing this way, and now having a huge source of inspiration waiting for him at home, it wouldn’t be shocking to see this team back in the NBA Finals for the first time since the Kevin Durant era.
