Not so long ago, Davante Adams was Aaron Rodgers’ favorite weapon, and the Green Bay Packers had one of the prime QB-WR duos in the game.

Then, all the uncertainty about Rodgers’ future with the organization and the opportunity to get reunited with his college quarterback and best friend paved the way for Adams to leave Wisconsin and take his talents to Las Vegas.

Unfortunately for him, his tenure with Derek Carr was short-lived, as Carr was benched after a 6-11 season and released by the organization.

Looking back, some might feel like he made a mistake by leaving Green Bay to join the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, he doesn’t feel this way.

Talking to Maxx Crosby in the later edition of his podcast, he showed no remorse about taking his talents to Vegas.

However, he did acknowledge that Jordan Love was absolutely balling (Via ProFootballTalk).

“In hindsight, like we talked about, the kid is a f***** baller, man. I’m so happy for him,” Adams said. “I haven’t had the chance to truly sit down and talk with him, but I want to tell him at some point that I definitely don’t regret changing, but I’m super proud of what you’ve done.”

Adams proved that he didn’t need to have a future Hall of Famer at QB to put up big numbers, thriving in his first and only season with Carr.

Things weren’t so good when Jimmy Garoppolo and Josh McDaniels took the reins, and all signs pointed to him requesting a trade, with the New York Jets as a logical destination.

Still, it seems like Adams is happy in Las Vegas, even though winning a Super Bowl ring will be tough in that division.
