The New York Knicks have been one of the most fun teams to watch during the 2024 NBA playoffs as their throwback style of basketball is a treat for fans and analysts alike.

New York has been rejuvenated since Jalen Brunson came to the team last year, and the point guard has been an absolute star for the team this year.

Despite the loss of Julius Randle, Brunson has kept the Knicks afloat and is currently leading the charge in their first-round matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.

After losing Game 3, Brunson made sure New York wouldn’t go down as easily again as he had his best game of the series in Game 4.

Brunson was a man on a mission offensively, aggressively looking for his shot almost every time down and converting on some highly-contested looks.

The star guard led New York to a win by dropping 47 points, setting a new franchise record for most points scored in a single playoff game, via Overtime.

Despite being undersized, Brunson is a tough-nosed player who initiates contact and finds ways to create space to get his shot off against taller defenders.

Despite Philadelphia trying their best to slow him down, Brunson just couldn’t be stopped as he and New York now own a 3-1 series lead.

With Game 5 heading back to Madison Square Garden, there’s a good chance that the Knicks can close things out though it’ll take another strong performance from Brunson to do so.
