The Denver Nuggets have the best player on Earth, and that’s always going to give you a chance to win.

Nikola Jokic keeps making a case for being the most dominant guy in the league, even if it doesn’t always seem that way.

That’s why sports analyst Chris Broussard recently compared him to the likes of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

Talking on “First Things First,” he argued that the Serbian star can completely take over games even if that doesn’t mean he’s doing most of the scoring.

Some might take a look at his tape or the box score and wonder if he was actually that good, which is what some young fans do now with Bird and Johnson, yet Jokic, just like those other stars, was the best player on the court by a significant margin.

Truth be told, this isn’t that far-fetched of a comparison.

Jokic is the best passing big man this game has ever seen, and he’s one of the best playmakers ever, period.

Also, just like Bird, he might not strike as the most athletic, fastest, or even strongest guy, yet he can get to his spots with ease, create separation, and be a difference-maker on both ends.

It’s crazy to think that some people still don’t give Jokic the respect he so clearly deserves.

Fortunately, for him and the Nuggets, he’s just entering his prime, and while he’s already a first-ballot Hall of Famer, he’s going to keep climbing the ladder as one of the best players ever for many more years.
