The Minnesota Timberwolves are just two wins away from moving on to the next round of the playoffs.

After their powerful win over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, the series is now 2-0 in Minnesota’s favor and many people think they have what it takes to score two more.

On Tuesday’s “The Carton Show,” Tim Hardaway Sr. said that the Timberwolves can definitely win against the Suns and can contend with the Denver Nuggets after that.

For most of the year, Anthony Edwards has been the shining star for the Timberwolves but it was other players who did the most work for Minnesota on Tuesday night.

Edwards scored 15 points, while Jaden McDaniels came alive with 25 points, and Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley scored 18 each.

This is a true testament to the fact that the Timberwolves have a much deeper roster than some people give them credit for.

That could be key for them moving forward.

If the Timberwolves can score two more wins, they will then face the winner of the Nuggets/Lakers series.

Considering Denver also has a 2-0 advantage over Los Angeles, many people assume the Timberwolves will face the Nuggets in the next round.

That would be a massive challenge for the Timberwolves and it would be a highly-watched match between the two most dominant teams in the conference.

The Nuggets have been one of the strongest teams in the league for several years now but now the Timberwolves have arrived, are playing well, and are ready to give Denver a run for their money.

Of course, before they can challenge the reigning champions, they have to move past the Suns.

With just two more wins, they can do that.
