The Los Angeles Lakers played great basketball for 47 minutes and 59 seconds.
Then, Jamal Murray sent them back home with a 0-2 deficit.
The Denver Nuggets guard knocked down a tough shot over Anthony Davis to beat the buzzer and seal a major comeback for the reigning NBA champions.
That’s why, following the game, Skip Bayless took to Twitter to claim that he felt sorry for LeBron James.
Of course, he did so in great passive-aggressive fashion.
Bayless said that James had finally shown up in the fourth quarter, adding that he did absolutely everything he could to help his team.
Then, he claimed that James missed the wide-open shot he had to make to secure his team the win before Jamal Murray took over.

James played a very solid game, but to no avail, as it just doesn’t seem to matter what they do, the Nuggets will continue to find ways to beat them.
Denver has now beaten them in ten consecutive games dating back to last season’s Western Conference Finals, as well as in 12 of their last 14 matchups.
Darvin Ham claimed that the Lakers didn’t want to use all of their adjustments on Nikola Jokic in Game 1, but after watching him put up 27 points, 20 rebounds, and ten assists on them in Game 2, he might need to start making some new ones.
