It’s no secret that the 2024 NFL Draft is filled with several blue-chip quarterback prospects.

This is one of the most loaded classes in recent history, and teams across the league could experience a massive return on their investment.

Several teams are desperate for a franchise quarterback and are looking to the draft to help them achieve their goals.

Ahead of next week’s draft, Field Yates appeared on the NFL Network’s “Path to the Draft,” where he outlined his top five quarterback prospects.

His No. 1 quarterback was Caleb Williams, the consensus No. 1 across the industry.

However, after Williams, analysts like Yates are torn on who to have round out their top five.

He lists Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, J.J. McCarthy, and Bo Nix as the next-best four quarterbacks on the board.

These are not necessarily controversial selections, but every analyst has their own opinion.

For instance, some people have moved up McCarthy to the No. 2 spot behind Williams, while others have pushed him out of the top five.

At the end of the day, these rankings and predictions are just an educated guess of where players will end up.

With any luck, all five of Yates’ top quarterbacks can make an instant impact on the franchises that decide to select them.

This year’s class has several talented receivers and offensive linemen, and if a team that takes a quarterback is also in need of one of those positions, they could double up, making for a very successful draft to help the team’s future.
