Several years ago, quarterback Johnny Manziel entered the NFL out of Texas A&M University with the potential to become a big-time star.
He never even came close to fulfilling that potential, however, partly due to a long list of off-the-field issues, and he played a total of just 14 games in the league before his tenure there ended.
Lately, he has been making the rounds in the media, and per “Undisputed,” he said that he would’ve loved to throw a touchdown pass to wide receivers Mike Evans, Jerry Rice, and Chad Johnson.

Evans has been one of the league’s top wideouts over the last 10 seasons, as he has gone over 1,000 receiving yards each year and has been named to the Pro Bowl five times.
He played a big role in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning the Super Bowl championship in the 2020 season with 15 touchdowns in the regular season and playoffs combined.
Now, Evans is getting the opportunity to catch balls from Baker Mayfield, who, like Manziel, failed to reach his potential while with the Cleveland Browns, but has now put it all together in Tampa Bay.
Rice, of course, is the greatest wide receiver of all time, and his unique combination of speed, great hands, route-running ability, and work ethic got him three Super Bowl rings with QBs Joe Montana and Steve Young.
Johnson made six Pro Bowls and two All-Pro First Teams in the 2000s, and his colorful personality has made him a popular figure both on and off the field to this day.
