This has been an absolute disaster of an offseason for the Dallas Cowboys.
The same team that was supposed to go “all-in” has only seen some of their best players walk away, all while there are rumors about Micah Parsons’ future and reputation within the organization.
They didn’t sign Dak Prescott to a contract extension, and they could also risk losing their best wide receiver.
As reported by Adam Schefter, star WR CeeDee Lamb will skip the voluntary offseason program, which is far from a surprise.

Lamb is still waiting to get a contract extension.
He’s slated to make almost $18 million next season after the team picked up his fifth-year option.
Lamb is coming off the best season of his career, and he was arguably the best wide receiver in the league.
Jerry Jones has a long history of botching this kind of situation, and while he clearly knows how to make a lot of money, he hasn’t been as good when it comes to keeping his stars happy and on board.
There’s no penalty for skipping this phase of the offseason program, and perhaps people shouldn’t read too much into this.
But we’ve seen this kind of situation escalate way too many times in the past, especially with the Cowboys.
Eventually, Jones will have no option but to cave in and give his best offensive player what he’s asking for.
Otherwise, he risks either losing him without getting anything in return or having to pay more than he would’ve had to pay if he had done things the way all teams do.
