On Monday, most of the country stepped outside to watch the first solar eclipse in years as it made its way across the United States.

Along with everyday people going outside during their work hours to check out the eclipse, Arizona Cardinals star safety Budda Baker joined in the festivities as he made sure to get a look at the eclipse, but he did it in his own way.

Most people wore glasses to watch the eclipse to avoid hurting their eyes, but Baker decided to go with a little extra protection: a full-on mask that looked like he was going to start welding at a job site rather than get a peek at the moon moving across the sun, via Dov Kleiman.

With the solar eclipse coming and going without any major incidents or madness as some had predicted, the country can get back to normal, with the Cardinals set to get ready for an important 2024 NFL Draft.

The Cardinals have the No. 4 overall pick in the upcoming draft on April 25 and will have to make the tough decision on who to go with, which is looking more and more like wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. out of Ohio State.

With Kyler Murray being the team’s undisputed leader under center and the team not needing to bring in another quarterback, the Cardinals will almost certainly go with a wide receiver, whether it be Harrison or LSU star wideout Malik Nabers.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens in Arizona and whether the team can turn things around this year.
