Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is nothing if not persistent.
Green, who hosts his own podcast, has tried for several years to get one of his famous teammates to join him on the show.
Finally, Green has his wish.
The Volume posted a video on Twitter Sunday that “The Draymond Green Show” will have Klay Thompson as a guest for its next episode.
“We got ’em,” Green emphatically said in the video.

Images in the video show text messages dating back to 2021 from Green to the show’s producer attempting to book Thompson for the show.
The last text message from Green said that Thompson would do the show while in Charlotte, asking for the unidentified person to fly out to the North Carolina town Thursday to record the podcast.
Later in the video, Thompson appears in the video relaying a story about another famous teammate: Steph Curry.
Green was drafted by Golden State in 2012, joining a team that already had Thompson – a second-year player at the time – and Curry on the roster.
The trio have won four NBA titles over the last decade while making the NBA Finals six times since 2015.
“The Draymond Green Show” is a podcast that started in 2021, publishing weekly episodes on both audio and visual platforms.
