The New York Knicks easily defeated the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, earning a 122-109 victory and handing Milwaukee their fourth straight loss.

On Monday morning’s episode of “The Carton Show,” Craig Carton said that good things are ahead for the Knicks after Sunday’s victory.

“The Knicks are going to get the number two seed,” Carton said, adding that only the Boston Celtics are capable of taking them down in a seven-game series.

The Knicks have four more games this season, starting with the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night.

Carton thinks New York will beat Chicago, bringing their record to 47-32.

That will put the Knicks on the verge of the second seed because the Bucks, Orlando Magic, and them are so close.

The Knicks have had a very exciting season, repeatedly climbing toward the top of the Eastern Conference despite some tough competition.

They have also had bad luck with injuries too, most recently losing Julius Randle for the rest of the year.

Despite that, Carton believes that only the best team in the league, the Celtics, are capable of defeating them.

Right now, the biggest question in the East is who can challenge the Celtics.

They have been so dominant for so long that it sometimes feels like no one can.

The Knicks have proved a lot this season but there are still many people not sure if they are capable of bringing down such a powerful and consistent team.

This next week will be very consequential for the Knicks.

And if everything goes right for them, they could be squaring off against the Celtics for Eastern Conference supremacy soon.
