The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the most highly-discussed teams of the NFL offseason.

Many fans and analysts have tried to predict this team’s future, and what moves they will make to try in 2024 and beyond.

While the Cowboys’ 2023 season finished much sooner than many expected, the team hasn’t made any significant moves to this point.

Willie Colon recently discussed this on The Carton Show, indicating that things will remain the same in the weeks before the season.

“Jerry Jones has closed the checkbook,” Colon said.

The Cowboys haven’t extended Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, or Micah Parsons to this point, a concerning predicament in Colon’s mind.

Jones has indicated that the Cowboys are “all-in” for the 2024 campaign, but he hasn’t shelled out the cash or made moves to give fans confidence in that assertion.

The Cowboys were one of the best teams in the NFL during the regular season last year, but they couldn’t find a way to replicate that success in the postseason.

Assuming Colon is correct and the Cowboys don’t do anything before the season starts, some of the team’s biggest stars could get frustrated.

Of course, if the Cowboys make a deep playoff run in 2024, this might not matter, as these players might want to stick together and keep their run going in 2025 and beyond.
