The 11th-seed Houston Rockets defeated the third-seed Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.

It was their tenth win in a row and perhaps their most impressive one yet.

On Thursday morning, Skip Bayless spoke about Jalen Green, who has blossomed into a huge star recently.

“Jalen Green is a wildly explosive scorer…I think we’re looking at a star here,” Bayless said.

During Wednesday’s game, Green scored 37 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists.

It was just the latest terrific game for Green, who is now in his third season in the NBA.

For the season, Green is averaging 19.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.

However, during his last 14 games, Green has put up 28.9 points, 6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.

Bayless compared him to another “explosive” NBA superstar, Anthony Edwards.

Green has indeed looked a lot like Edwards over the last few weeks, following months of him not delivering on the expectations of some fans.

When the season kicked off, people noted that Green wasn’t performing to the same level he had been over the last few years.

This was due to a number of reasons, including new recruits like Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks and new leadership of head coach Ime Udoka.

There were reportedly plans to even trade Green at the deadline in February, possibly to the Brooklyn Nets.

In the end, the Rockets stuck with Green and they are happy that they did.

The Rockets now have a 37-35 record, which means they are right behind the Golden State Warriors for the tenth seed and a spot in the Play-In Tournament.

If they do make it that far, Houston fans will be wildly excited to see what Green can do in the postseason.

Can this explosive stretch of games continue for the rising star?
