With Marvin Harrison Jr. likely to be the first wide receiver — and the first non-quarterback — taken off the board in the upcoming NFL Draft, teams need to assess all their options.
Not many teams will have an opportunity to get the Ohio State product, but the second-best wide receiver prospect isn’t that far behind him in terms of potential.
With that in mind, LSU standout Malik Nabers is getting plenty of league-wide interest, as he should.
According to Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network, the star wideout had dinner with the New York Giants — who have the No. 6 pick — on Tuesday night.
LSU star WR Malik Nabers had dinner with Giants last night + met with Patriots, Titans, Jets & Jaguars yesterday ahead of today’s Pro Day, per sources. He will meet with Cardinals post-workout today.

The report adds that Nabers also met with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, and Tennessee Titans, and he’s also going to meet with the Arizona Cardinals after a workout.
While he didn’t partake in the workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine, he’s expected to run the 40-yard dash and participate in some drills during his Pro Day on Wednesday afternoon.
Of all the teams that met with him, only the Jaguars aren’t picking in the Top 10, and both the Cardinals and Patriots will be on the clock before the Giants.
Still, they’ll likely have a chance to get their hands on him, assuming they don’t pursue a quarterback or trade up as some people and media outlets speculate they could do.
Marvin Harrison Jr. has stolen most of the headlines, but Nabers should make an immediate impact at the next level.
