Louisiana high school senior Dwayne Coleman set a state high school record squat on Saturday. Then he shattered it later that day.
Competing at the LHSAA state championship in Lafayette, Louisiana, Coleman originally squatted for 845 pounds and then a next squat of 875 pounds, which set the high school state record. Then, he received a bonus squat where he squatted for 900 pounds to break his own record.
And Coleman gets deep on his squats, getting the glutes down before exploding up. It was smooth from the high school senior.
He is listed as having played football for Salmen (Slidell, Louisiana) although there was some buzz at the LHSAA that he didn’t play the sport. Either way, one has to think LSU football head coach Brian Kelly is bringing in Coleman for the Tiger’s spring game.
Listed at 6-foot and 390 pounds, Coleman could set a couple of lifting records at a Power Five program, that’s for sure.
