The Chicago Bears got a lot better in the offseason.
Their defense was already good, and they added some interesting pieces on offense.
Landing RB D’Andre Swift and TE Gerald Everett should do wonders there.
However, Keenan Allen’s arrival was perhaps the most prominent.
Needless to say, that was great news for fellow WR DJ Moore.
He welcomes the help and stated that it doesn’t matter who’s going to be the No. 1 guy, adding that it could be a bit of a healthy competition for 1,000 receiving yards (via Around the NFL):
“It doesn’t really matter to me,” Moore said. “I know we’ve both talked about how we’re going to complement each other. So I’m just looking forward to that. It might be a race to 1,000 (yards), but that’s just a friendly competition. At the end of the day, if we’re winning, whoever is catching the ball, I don’t really care.”

The Bears are clearly taking a page from Mike McDaniel and the Miami Dolphins’ book.
They could have one of the most dominant and explosive one-two punches in the passing game.
On top of that, they could add even more firepower to that offense with the No. 9 pick, assuming they take Caleb Williams with the No. 1 selection, as most people expect them to do.
Matt Eberflus’ tenure has left plenty to be desired in the Windy City, but he does know how to build and develop a defense.
Now, it’s time for the other side of the field to take a leap forward as well, and GM Ryan Poles is making sure there’s no more room for excuses there.
The Bears have done an outstanding job of putting talent together this offseason.
And even if Caleb Williams isn’t able to make an impact right away, this team should be in the mix to win their division next season.
