The Memphis Grizzlies wish they could re-do this season.

It seemed doomed from the very beginning, with Ja Morant set to miss the first quarter of the season with a suspension.

Then, when it seemed like they were getting back on track for a playoff spot, their superstar point guard fell with a season-ending injury.

Morant won’t be able to play again this season, but it seems like he cannot wait to get back out there.

That’s why he took to Twitter to post an hourglass emoji alongside a grizzly bear emoji.

It has been a tough season for the former No. 2 pick.

His reputation took a big hit because of his off-court incidents, and he wasn’t able to redeem himself on the court.

He was having a great return before that season-ending injury, and he’ll have to be patient not to rush his way back.

Morant is one of the faces of the league already.

He’s one of the most entertaining players to watch and a walking highlight reel.

But the Grizzlies are way more than just Ja Morant.

Even despite a myriad of injuries and having most of their starters out, they’ve managed to stay competitive night in and night out.

This new generation of players certainly lives up to the ‘grit-and-grind’ Grizzlies philosophy.

The scariest part is that they’re only going to get better, as they’ll have a top 10 pick in the NBA Draft.
