The Philadelphia Eagles just got one of the biggest players in free agency.
They signed star RB Saquon Barkley to a very lucrative three-year deal, luring him away from a divisional rival.
That led to Tiki Barber claiming that Barkley was ‘dead to us,’ but most fans still stood by him as they understood the business side of it and how the New York Giants mistreated him.
Considering that, former Eagles star DeSean Jackson shared a big piece of advice with him.
Talking to Kay Adams for her Up & Adams Show, the former wide receiver urged Barkley to just focus on playing football.
He stated that he wouldn’t have to lift a finger because the people within the Eagles organization would take care of him.
“The Eagles, the organization, the fans alone, they are gonna take every battle for you,” Jackson said.

Jackson stated that Philadelphia is the absolute best place to play professional sports, adding that he’s looking forward to watching Barkley do his thing in the City of Brotherly Love.
Saquon Barkley is one of the most impactful offensive players in the game when healthy.
He won’t have to worry about the turf at MetLife Stadium more than once a year, and the Eagles hope that will translate into fewer injuries.
Should that be the case, then he’s going to give the Giants nightmares every single time they square off.
