New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau has found a great amount of success and respect during his many years in the NBA.
He is known for his basketball knowledge and also his unique personality.
On Tuesday night, Knicks star Josh Hart spoke about his coach and his insistence on leaving his starters on the court until the end of blowout games.
“Thibs has some trauma he has to deal with,” Hart jokingly told Fred Katz.

Thibodeau didn’t make that choice during Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Knicks easily sailed past the Sixers, earning a huge 106-79 victory.
As for Hart, he had an amazing game.
He scored a triple-double with 20 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists.
He racked up the most points alongside Jalen Brunson, who also posted 20 with 9 assists.
This is Hart’s first full season in New York and he has been doing very well so far, averaging 9.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
Whether coming off the bench or joining the starting five, Hart has shown that he seamlessly fits into the team’s rotation and Thibodeau’s plans.
The Knicks are the fourth seed in the East right now and are positioned to push into the playoffs in a few weeks.
They are hoping that the playoffs will be better for them this year than it was in 2022-23.
They were only able to make it out of the first round last season before their hopes were dashed by the surging Miami Heat.
However, the Knicks are a much better team this year, which means they could have more luck in the postseason.
Perhaps Thibodeau will go easy on his starters for the next few weeks so they can prepare for what may be a lengthy playoff run.
