The Baltimore Orioles are looking to improve upon their incredible season from last year.
They won 100 games and took home the crown for best record in the American League.
But, all of that went away when they got swept in the first round of the playoffs.
The Orioles lost to the eventual World Series champion Texas Rangers.
Baltimore was a young, inexperienced team last season.
But, they come back this year with hopes to be much better.
So far this spring, things are off to a great start.
According to Jayson Stark, the Orioles have dominated this spring.
They have a 14-3 record and have scored more runs than any team in the Grapefruit League.
Through 5 innings today, the Orioles…
Have 13 hits
And 11 runs
And have made 15 outsThey’re 14-3 this spring.
They’ve scored more runs than any team in Florida.Scary to think how good they can be.

Baltimore has spent years developing some of their best players in the minor leagues.
It is finally time they start seeing dividends.
Gunnar Henderson, Adley Rutschman, and Jackson Holliday are the present and future of the Orioles.
But, to increase their chances of success this year they added an ace starting pitcher.
The Orioles traded for Corbin Burnes from the Milwaukee Brewers.
Now they have one of the best pitchers in baseball leading their rotation.
But, the Orioles will have their work cut out for them in the AL East.
That is the best division in baseball with five teams that could all compete for a playoff spot.
If the Orioles can get all of their players to reach their potential, they are a great bet for the World Series.
But, their inexperience in the playoffs could once again be an issue.
