House Republicans released a transcript of a January 6 Committee interview with a Secret Service agent who was driving President Trump from his infamous Ellipse speech back to the White House.

The goal was to show that the witness “directly contradicts” Cassidy Hutchinson’s account that Trump “lunged” at the steering wheel to make the car go to the Capitol.
