Ohio running back Bo Jackson was offered by Alabama on Monday. Bo knows all about the Iron Bowl rivalry, apparently.
A four-star running back, Jackson attends Villa-Angela St. Joseph (Cleveland, Ohio). He is the No. 102 recruit in the nation according to 247Sports and the fourth-ranked running back in his class.
Earlier in February, he took an unofficial visit to Georgia.
Explosive and strong, Jackson also holds offers from Kentucky, Miami, Michigan and Ohio State among others.
The humor behind it all is that Bo Jackson, the other Bo Jackson (who was an All-Star baseball player and a standout running back in the NFL), played for Auburn.
So imagine Bo Jackson suiting up for Alabama – it might be too much for Auburn fans to take (even if it is a different Bo Jackson and not the Auburn legend).
The class of 2025 Jackson has not been offered (yet) by Auburn. But he did post on social media about the Crimson Tide offering:
After a great conversation with @BAMACoachG I am very blessed and humbled to say I have been offered by @AlabamaFTBL Thank you @CoachHitsch @KalenDeBoer @VASJFootball pic.twitter.com/oHuNnQvBJe

This past season Villa Angela-St. Joseph went 9-4.
