The Super Bowl might be a thing of the past, but all NFL teams are already working on the road to New Orleans for next season.
General managers are working around the clock to try and do what’s best for their teams, and that might include making some bold moves.
NFL analyst Adam Rank named the three most prominent names that should be traded this offseason: WR Justin Jefferson, Stefon Diggs, and Brandon Aiyuk (Via Around the NFL).

Per Rank, the Minnesota Vikings could get an incredible haul for their star wide receiver.
Obviously, moving on from one of the best players in the league would be a questionable decision, but he thinks they could flip him into the kind of asset pool they need to significantly bolster their roster, landing more than what they got for Diggs
“It might seem wild, considering the Vikings basically just did this four years ago with Stefon Diggs. But then again, Minnesota’s fine return in that trade could be the best argument for making this one: The haul could be amazing!” read the report.
As for the Buffalo Bills star, Rank points out the fact that Josh Allen is already going to have a huge cap hit next season and the Bills need to lower that number:
“Buffalo can save more than $22 million in cap space with a post-June 1 trade of Diggs. The Bills should just move on and reallocate the money elsewhere,” wrote Rank.
Also, Diggs’ production took a massive dip after Ken Dorsey was let go, and he hasn’t looked happy in Buffalo for quite a while now.
Brandon Aiyuk’s case is similar, as his social media activity reveals that he’s not satisfied with his current role in Kyle Shanahan’s offense.
Rank argues that he’s very underrated, but the Niners might simply not be able to afford him:
“Aiyuk is one of the most underrated receivers in the league. And honestly, if I were looking for a high-impact wideout, this might be the guy I’d target, factoring in possible trade compensation and what it will cost to extend him beyond this year, the last on his rookie deal,” he wrote.
Now, whether any of this happens remains to be seen.
