Over the past few seasons, All-Pro center Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles has become a household name, as he’s seen his popularity with fans go through the roof as a result of his team’s success as well as his brother Travis Kelce dating pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Although Jason Kelce is still considered to be one of the best centers in the NFL today, he has been flirting with retirement for the last few years, as he seems to be growing tired of going through the motions every year while dealing with injuries and everything that comes with playing his position.

As more and more off-the-field opportunities have presented themselves, like the podcast he does with his brother, which is one of the most popular in the sports field, the need to play has become less and less for the veteran.

It seems as though Jason Kelce doesn’t want to walk away from the game while still being able to play at a high level, but he’s definitely keeping his options open moving forward, like making the transition to an analyst for ESPN or FOX Sports, as he told Dana Carvey and David Spade on the Superfly podcast via the New York Post.

“I don’t know. I’m trying to figure it out right now. Right now, exploring different opportunities if I end up retiring,” Kelce said.”Still working out and staying in shape if I end up playing again.”

It’ll be interesting to see what the Eagles star decides to do, as Philadelphia almost certainly wants him back in the fold, and it will be no easy task to replace him.

Jalen Hurts and company will need him if the team intends to bounce back during the 2024 NFL season and get back in contention in the NFC.
