To say that the Milwaukee Bucks’ season has been a whirlwind would be an understatement.
Even though the Bucks still have one of the best records in the NBA, they have been up and down all year, especially after Doc Rivers took over as head coach.
Rivers was expected to solve the team’s woes and to help get them out of a rut, but to this point, the Bucks haven’t gotten markedly better.
Giannis Antetokounmpo recently spoke with Eric Nehm of The Athletic, going over all of the changes the Bucks have gone through.
Antetokounmpo called these changes “Just up and down,” from the shift in ownership, coaches, and star players.
For the first time in his 11-year career, Giannis Antetokounmpo is going through a season defined by change.
He’s been through two ownership changes, four coaching changes, innumerable roster changes and everything in between.

With all of these changes in mind, can the Bucks get back to a place of true dominance within the East?
Currently, they hold the third-best record in the Eastern Conference, a full 8.5 games back of the Boston Celtics for the conference lead.
If they are going to make a splash, it’ll have to happen quickly after the All-Star break.
If the Bucks start slowly out of the gates, they could fall further in the standings, especially when looking at how dominant the other teams in the conference have been.
The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to stay strong and get better, the New York Knicks are getting healthier by the day, and if Joel Embiid comes back in a timely manner, the Philadelphia 76ers could also overtake them in the standings.
It will be interesting to see it all play out, but if Antetokounmpo is frustrated, this team has some work to do.
