It’s been a roller coaster of a week for Los Angeles Lakers fans, as they have felt a mix of cautious optimism, surprise, and disappointment.
The optimism was established because of three consecutive wins, while the surprise came from a lack of moves at the trade deadline, and the disappointment was caused by a difficult loss to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night.
After that loss, LeBron James spoke to the press about his team’s chances of making a strong playoff push again this season.
According to a video shared by ClutchPoints, James got real about what would help or hurt them in the postseason.
“Whole year’s been about health,” James said.

If health is going to be the deciding factor then fans of the team should be very nervous right now.
The Lakers currently have three injured players: Cam Reddish, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Gabe Vincent.
Sadly, it’s not clear when any of those players will be back with the team.
On Thursday, young Lakers star Max Christie departed the game after rolling his ankle, meaning that the injury list could grow even longer in the days ahead.
All season long, the Lakers have battled physical problems that have kept some of the best players off the floor.
Surprisingly, James and Anthony Davis have been two of the healthiest players on the roster.
It feels like whenever the Lakers are lacking, certain members of the team say that injuries are to blame.
There is some truth to that, of course, but they will need to find ways to work through those injuries since it’s obvious that they aren’t going away.
Is it possible for the Lakers to reach the Western Conference Finals again even if they aren’t entirely healthy?
