Coming into the 2023-24 NBA regular season, the Golden State Warriors were hoping to get back to form as a legitimate title contender in the Western Conference, with the storied franchise bringing in veteran point guard Chris Paul and parting ways with Jordan Poole.

Unfortunately for Stephen Curry and company, the Warriors haven’t been able to get it going this season, with Golden State struggling on a daily basis resulting in the team currently being four games below .500.

With the team continuing to struggle with no signs that Steve Kerr’s squad can turn things around this season, the Warriors could choose to make some deals ahead of the NBA trade deadline on February 8.

It is uncertain at this point in time whether the team can make a game-changing move in less than a week, but Golden State does appear to be doing it’s due diligence, with defensive-minded guard Alex Caruso potentially in the Warriors’ crosshairs, according to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago via NBA Central.

The Bulls have seemingly been ready to clean house even before the season started, with Chicago willing to blow up their roster if the team is unable to turn things around before the trade deadline this month.

Although LaVine has been the biggest name on the roster mentioned in numerous trade rumors, Caruso might be the team’s best trade asset, as he continues to play at a high level on both ends of the floor while having a desirable contract that can be easily be absorbed by most teams.
