Super Bowl LVIII is less than two weeks away and the excitement is palpable for the rematch between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs’ path to the Super Bowl included road games against the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens but they handled business to earn a chance to win their third championship in the past decade.
Kansas City’s lack of offensive output has been a storyline throughout the 2023 NFL season, but it hasn’t affected their ability to win games in the playoffs.
Travis Kelce is looking like his old self in the postseason, though his name is making headlines because of his relationship with megastar Taylor Swift.
Swift has been a guest of Kelce at games and the two are causing waves in the media with the Super Bowl around the corner.
People are starting to get fed up with all the coverage on Kelce and Swift, but Kurt Warner believes the publicity is good for football via People.
“It brings another layer of excitement to the games and to what’s going on, and to a fan base that maybe hadn’t watched that much football before, and now we’re watching it and maybe they tuned in for something besides football,” Warner said.

Since Swift became a fixture at Chiefs’ games, there’s been more football discourse in the media which proves Warner’s point.
While football fans might not like how much attention Swift gets for just dating Kelce, there’s no denying that the level of interest and popularity in the NFL is growing higher.
