The Kansas City Chiefs have officially made it to their fourth Super Bowl in the past five seasons.
Many people counted them out heading into the season, and fans and analysts weren’t sure about how they would stack up in the playoffs.
One of the biggest knocks on the Chiefs was said to be their wide receiver room, which wasn’t a good enough unit to compete in the eyes of many.
Kadarius Toney has been viewed as a liability at the wide receiver position throughout the year, which has continued into the playoffs.
Mark Schlereth recently appeared on The Carton Show to discuss this, and why Toney isn’t a great asset.
He said that Toney’s “hands are made of feet,” adding, “That dude can’t catch the ball.”
“As a football team, responsibility is the best ability. Take responsibility. Kadarius Toney can’t catch the ball. You have to have the responsibility to say, ‘hey I haven’t been good enough, I’m gonna fix that part of my game,’ and he hasn’t done that.”

Toney was a late addition to the pregame injury report for the AFC Championship, a designation that was given for injury and personal reasons.
Many, including Schlereth, believe that Toney wasn’t injured at all and that the Chiefs just didn’t want him to be on the field.
His play hasn’t been up to par lately, and if the Chiefs truly believed he could hurt them more than he could help them, this destination might make sense.
Of course, Toney did just have his first child over the weekend, which was another reason for him missing the AFC Championship.
That was one factor, but it will be interesting to see if he or the Chiefs face any additional backlash for this controversy.
