The Milwaukee Brewers headed into this offseason with plenty of uncertainty.
They lost manager Craig Counsell to the Chicago Cubs and the direction of their team was unclear.
But, the Brewers are the reigning NL Central champions.
They do not plan on giving up that title in 2024.
The most recent move the Brewers made was to improve their offense.
They agreed to a two-year, $34 million deal with first baseman Rhys Hoskins.
Also, there were talks that the Brewers could trade away starting pitcher Corbin Burnes.
However, Bob Nightengale recently said that the Brewers have no interest in trading away Burnes.
Instead, they are going to keep him and try to repeat as division champions.
The Brewers certainly showing they have no intention of trading ace Corbin Burnes in attempt to repeat as Central Division winners. The Cubs also had interest in Hoskins. https://t.co/GfHbmCrrIm

Burnes is one of the best pitchers in baseball.
He is a perennial Cy Young candidate and would have a lot of value on the trade market.
But, the Brewers owe it to their fans to go all-in.
The addition of Hoskins will certainly help their offense.
He has proven to be a great power hitter and should produce massive numbers in Milwaukee.
It will be interesting to see what other moves the Brewers make this offseason.
They have an interesting lineup heading into next year with Hoskins, Christian Yelich, and Willy Adames.
But, the upside of their team comes in the form of star prospect Jackson Chourio.
He is one of the top prospects in baseball and is expected to be the opening-day center fielder.
If Chourio can reach his full potential next season, the Brewers can be dangerous in the National League.
