Insider Says 1 NBA Team Will Be ‘Sellers’ At Trade Deadline

The NBA trade deadline is now just a few weeks away and there are multiple teams who will be making deals and committing to big trades in the second half of the season.

One team that reportedly will be “sellers” on the market is the Charlotte Hornets.

According to Jake Fischer, via Evan Sidery, the Hornets are open to sending away a few players.

LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, and Mark Williams are the only players who won’t be available in trade talks, according to the report.

However, Terry Rozier, P.J. Washington, Gordon Hayward, and Miles Bridges could all be packaged into deals before February 8.

The Hornets have continued to struggle in 2023-24 and are currently the 13th seed in the East with a lacking 9-30 record.

Their chances of making the playoffs this year have slipped away once again and that is why the team is contemplating a rebuilding process.

There are strong players at the core of the team, such as Ball, Miller, and Williams.

Over the years, the team has also acquired a few promising players with a mix of experience and potential.

Those are the players who will be dealt away before the trade deadline.

Rozier has experienced a resurgence during his years in Charlotte and is currently averaging 23.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.

Hayward, who has once again faced injuries this season, is producing 14.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.

Washington and Bridges could also be attractive to multiple teams and it’s very likely the Hornets will be discussing potential deals with several franchises across the league.

However, will any deals make a difference for this season?

Is there any chance of the Hornets staging a comeback in 2023-24?
