Every single year, the Dallas Cowboys seem to dominate the competition during the NFL regular season and then fall apart in the NFL playoffs, with “America’s Team” being a resounding disappointment while failing to live up to expectations.

On Sunday, it was more of the same from the Cowboys, with Dallas coming into their first-round matchup with the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers as the heavy favorites, as Dak Prescott and company were expected to make easy work of Jordan Love’s squad.

It seemed like the game was almost immediately over for the Cowboys with the Packers firing on all cylinders right out of the gate, scoring 27 first-half points to only seven from Dallas.

Ultimately, the Packers were the more prepared team coming into this matchup on the road at AT&T Stadium, as Green Bay was dominating on both sides of the football, leading to another epic postseason collapse by the Cowboys, which was historic, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

Love had the game of his life on Sunday, with the young quarterback playing flawless football, throwing for 272 yards and three touchdowns without an interception.

The same couldn’t be said for Prescott, which may have proved to be the difference.

With another playoff collapse for Jerry Jones’ franchise, it’ll be interesting to see what moves the team might make during the NFL offseason in order to get this team back on track, whether that be a change at head coach, quarterback, or elsewhere.
