The 2023-24 NBA regular season is quickly turning into a disaster for the Golden State Warriors, and with the once-dominant Western Conference heavyweights seemingly falling apart as the team sports a record below .500 at 17-20, there’s a very good chance the franchise shakes things up ahead of the NBA trade deadline next month.

As of right now, it seems as though no one on the roster outside of superstar guard Stephen Curry is safe with less than a month to go before the trade deadline on February 8.

However, one player, in particular, could be the most likely to be dealt before the deadline, with Andrew Wiggins potentially suiting up for another team once the deadline has come and gone.

According to Tim Kawakami of The Athletic, Wiggins seems to be a strong candidate to be moved as the team does its due diligence to see what they can get for him in return, via 95.7 The Game.

Even though Wiggins played a pivotal role on the team during the last championship run and resurrected his once-promising NBA career in the Bay Area, the former No. 1 overall pick has seen a drastic drop off in production on the floor this season.

Last year, Wiggins was averaging a solid 17.1 points per game for the Warriors, but now that number is down to 11.7, as he seems like a different player entirely and someone the team wants to move off of before he has no value at all.

The Warriors have been linked to a few notable players as of late, with Dejounte Murray and Pascal Siakam potentially being at the top of the team’s wishlist ahead of the trade deadline.
