The New England Patriots haven’t been the same since superstar quarterback Tom Brady left the team a few years ago to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, immediately resulting in another Super Bowl title for the future Hall of Famer.
While Brady went on to have more success in the NFL after leaving New England, the storied NFL franchise hasn’t been able to put it together, even with legendary head coach Bill Belichick leading the way on the sideline.
Despite Belichick’s best efforts to move on from the Brady era and continue the tradition of winning in New England, the Patriots have really struggled and now could be on the verge of a drastic change.
Belichick has seemingly been on the hot seat all season long, with Robert Kraft and company potentially ready to move on from the 71-year-old who coached the team to six Super Bowl titles.
However, it seems as though Belichick may have lost a step or doesn’t have the personnel to remain successful in New England, and Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports suggests it’s time to “blow it up,” via “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”

An excellent start to a rebuild in New England would be trading Belichick elsewhere for assets that can be used right away, and that may very well be the route taken if Kraft doesn’t simply fire or part ways with the veteran head coach.
Only time will tell what the Patriots brass will do and what the future holds for one of the greatest head coaches in NFL history.
