Jordan Love led the Green Bay Packers to the playoffs this past week after he delivered a huge win over the NFC North rival Chicago Bears.
Love’s performance drew praise from his former teammate and mentor, Aaron Rodgers, who’s showered the young quarterback with praise all year as he’s watched Love continue to grow with the Packers.
But the Bears game, in Rodgers’ mind, was on another level.
“That was a pretty masterclass performance by Jordan,” Rodgers said on ESPN’s “Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday. “He played great.”

Love finished the Bears game with another 300-yard, multi-touchdown, zero-interception performance to send Green Bay to the postseason.
The win also marked his third consecutive victory after back-to-back losses in mid-December cast doubt on the Packers’ playoff viability.
Green Bay earned the seventh seed in the NFC playoffs and now travels to face the Dallas Cowboys on the road.
So while Love played well all regular season long, he’ll now head to his first playoff game as the team’s starting quarterback against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
Love proved in 2023 that he can play like a top-level quarterback, putting up top-10 stats and leading the team to the postseason.
He did so with one of the youngest pass-catching groups in the NFL as well with four rookies (two wideouts and two tights) and two second-year players at wide receiver.
Regardless of what happens in this game, though, Love appears to be the right fit for the Packers’ next franchise quarterback.
